I went last weekend and they luckily got snow the night before, so conditions were great! Fresh powder, no slush or ice.

It was blizzard conditions on Beech this evening and the snow was starting to freeze. The snow is blowing so hard that you can't see other people. It was tough weather but fun!!!
Tons of fresh snow and a great day of snowboarding! It snowed all day yesterday. I plan on heading back today.

there is only 5 lifts and only 4 are open one doset work
beech is very fun lines not to long but need to open more lifts!

good as CO??!?! really?!?! we used to go there but now we go to maine!!! sugarloaf!!!! beach isnt ever half of a forth or sugarloaf and sugarloaf isnt as good as CO!!!

the least crouds and the most snow of any were they even made the powder point list
epic conditions. as good as colorado, just not as long.
went to beech saturday & sunday, great powder....yeah, i said powder. i know, NC has powder this year. sugar was crazy crowded with an uber slow lift... beech it!
Went in Saturday, not too crowded and the snow was pretty good. Don't expect too much from the service though. We waited 1.25 hours for the shuttle in 9 degrees, kinda ruined it.
just left ski beech had a great time skiing was awesome for n.c.
Great conditions, ocasional sheets of ice, but for the most part just fine. Not nearly as crowded as Sugar.
