They are still 100% open. Was there 2 weeks ago and it was as good as it gets in NC - some new snow, sunshine, and uncrowded. It's a tiny mountain, but well maintained, good staff, good atmosphere, and more fun.

I went App for my birthday in December and there was alot of snow and it was powdery and not all icey, I had the time of my life. I never wanted to leave!!!

Went to App on the 3rd, they just got ~4 inches, it was nice. Stayed freezing the whole day, no rocks, no sticks, no mud coming through. It was like $27 for a student (weekday) that kills the prices at Sugar. Most everything was open except for 2 of their shorter/narrower blacks.

Went to App this weekened. A lot of snow, and Terrian Parks were open!
