You don't 'pass up' Patrol jobs and here's why. 1) They are volunteer positions. You go to the job, it doesn't come to you. 2) Evey hill I'm aware if requires a Patroller to be 18 if not 21 years of age. Sugar Bowl happens to require 21. You might be an incredible boarder (who am I to judge?), but there's only so much I'm willing to believe coming from an anonymous source. And Patrolling isn't just about helping folks with minimal talent. That's just tunnel vision. Search and Rescue has always sounded like fun to me...but I could never bring myself to join. I like lifts that take me where I want to go. Don't like hiking. That's all. Winter here we come!

Ok smarty iv pulling people like you off DS since I was 16 iv passed up a bunch of patrol jobs simply because I don't want to help people that don't belong here in the first place ... Come see me any time Nevada co search and rescue....D

You're a true genius. The border comment you refer to -- not written by me -- was only meant to imply that the author doesn't think Sugar Bowl is a good place to board. Not a "jerk off" comment. Look before you leap and say this stupid stuff. I suspect all you'll be is a medical issue that Ski Patrol must care for after you wreck in the terrain park. Boreal is just across the street, you know.
