Powder conditions were perfect in the early morning, but the ice layer from the man-made snow began to show it's ugly face after about noon. Still, cutting between trails in the trees was great all day long!

ICE! The day started with maybe 1-2" of snow on a base of ice. Light snow at upper elevations added 1" later in the day and made boarding passable, but no way should they be charging peak season rates. The only benefit is that everyone stayed away and there were no lines. I saw more boarders being taken off the slopes by medics than I ever have.
