Love mammoth, and love the doughnuts at schat's bakery, finger licking good. st. patrick would be proud, sunny a rainbow to boot. 160ft of snow blows vail and aspen out of the waters.
this was saturday. pray for another storm coz sunday was getting warmer.met a guy who used to live in LA now lives in NY but already logged 60 days this season in mammoth. tells you a lot.

Dumping & seriously windy
nice morning but afternoon got windy with flat light. light snow started around 3 pm.
upper gondola closed at 1pm due to no visibility. crusty on the rightside. packed under 2inches of powder. windy as hell!
Great snow today. The top is windy so get off the chair and move it! Hit the bumps hard and stay warm...
this place once didnt close till august so i bet there will be great skiing well into the summer
Beautiful weather and fantastic snow. No lift lines during the week. Can't get better!
best day of skiing that I've had in the 91 days I have skied. Got fresh tracks in the morning off the Gondola then traversed over to Dragons and spent most of the day traversing mountain left off Chair 9. Had 6-18in of fresh, light, soft powder, especially in the trees. Didn't have any crust until we took the groomers back to Main Lodge. Stuff off chair 23 was pretty tracked out/wind blown by the afternoon. Found great soft stuff off chair 22 even in the afternoon. Great day!
I bet the snow can stay there t'il the end of April
