going to be in tahoe for 3 mounths which mt besides kirkwood is worth riding everyday how does alpine rate anyone

Excellent powder here. The temps (11-20 degs) were ideal for the snow/liquid ratios to pile on 36 inches of lofty powder with more on the way!
January 6th - Ski Spaz
Avalanches in region. Alpine has some of the best avalanche mitigation in the country with Bombing and Howitzer fire all AM for controls. Otherwise the skiing is out-of-this-world, just don't lose touch with the harsh reality the Sierras love to hand out to euphoric inattentive pilgrims.
