this place is steep and deep. if you come to this resort, be sure to come with a knee doctor.
we skied Taynton bowl Tues and Wed. New snow really softened things up. Good bumps all over the bowl. while it would benefit greatly from a foot or two of new snow, we've had a hoot!!
this place needs a big dump of snow. And it needs a Hooters.
We just finished two great days. No new snow but it was still great, I was very surprized! Snow soften nicely by late morning. Nice sun all day!

no new snow since Jan but they are keeping up well. Yes some bare spots and rocks showing but overall in fair condition. Go and enjoy, by far the best ski school for kids in the west!
not very good not enough snow. in the afternoon the snow softened up and got a little better. lots of bare spots and twigs sticking out throughout the mountain as well
good yesterday Taynton just had a few harder spots at the bottom and the groomers were really good

no way they got 3cm last night i was there and there was nothing on the ground.
afternoon wasn't bad patchy ice spots but areas with sun soften up. 1000 peaks should be avoides unless you can ski the 5 foot section at the side of the run. they need snow badly!
wed. morning groomers were good but summit is a problem, no new snow, icy and rocks everywhere.
was out today. conditions are not the best but there is some fresh snow on the top in the trees
tuesday afternoon in pano. the sun warmed up the hills and broke up the ice. finding glades are starting to get huge bumpa with the ground showing between. groom runs are best at this point but not till afternoon and the soften. without new snow soon I would recommend this place to anyone.
tuesday morning was hard packed off the summit. no new snow last night.
monday in pano: new snow is helping improve things. Less hard packed (read almost ice) then yesterday. Can still find 2 inch soft stuff.
