Here's an up to date report. The base is low 80cm's at best. The only snow is fake snow. It's all ice and absolutely no powder. Fake snow is actually the only highlight as the parts of the mountain without it are bare, with rocks poking through and roots and tree shrubs everywhere. The weather is warm, around plus 3-5. You would be much better off spending an hour and a half in the car and going to fernie.
