Great skiing and very snow sure. Glacier alone is quite challenging and when you add the rest is well worth a visit. new high capacity gondola replaced the ill-faited venicular. Kaprun nice little town
I was there for 7 days over the New Year. The snow was perfect powder and I didn't queue for more than 20 seconds on any lift. Very well groomed slopes with plenty of off-piste options.
I visited the resort last weekend (24-25 Nov 2007). The weather was mostly snowy but not very cold. The resort is excellent! Powder everywhere! Many off slope runs that you can ride safely. Many lifts that allow you to combine your run so you do not get bored! It is very easily approachable even from Salzburg (1:45 hr by train to Zell am See and then ski bus). Too many people though.
