April 22: Unbelievable, grey skies morning, windy, chilly, flurries and then around noon Old Man Solar Rays shows up in full glory..A tremendous day of skiing, weather warm relative to past few days and packed powder..

Sunday 4/20 was beautiful with over 20" of new snow over the fri-sat period, and the sun came out. Majestic slopes, soft powder, groomed trails and minimal lines. Fantastic for kids, my 5 year old is blasting down the hills.

Monday 4/21: Rough conditions, total whiteout on NW side of mountains. Lookout mountain afforded zero visibility. Groomed trails and powder on the side were indistinguishable. Many skiiers gave up on the higher terrain and made their way down since the disorientation was severe. Lots of snow though and cold. Hard to ski safely - sometimes downhill is undetectable other than through sliding of skis

Skied from April 5th - 10th , what an amazing resort, this was the best spring condidions i have ever seen, it felt like full-out winter at the hill, but spring in banff, which is great for the nightlife. Search and you will always find your own runs with no people and powder stashes galore.
