this place is absolutely massive. i have never skiied more that a 75 foot vertical but this 100 foot vertical really steps up my skiing abilities. i wanna try a 125 foot vertical once i become potty trained.
This hill is huge to me, I went to Gatlinburg TN, and almost peed my pants, I love Cloudmont and pink snowboards, maybe one day I will ride a big hill once I get out of diapers.
Theres skiing in Alabama? And only 2 runs? is this like a kids place?
this is not a ski hill I would say a sleding hill at the most and no there is not 90 inch base try 0
90" base!?! hahaa yeah, that's credible imformation
I love Cloudmont, it is my home hill, I also like to ride girls snowboards.
An awesome place for beginners or people looking to shake the rust from their skills in the South, especially before a big trip to CO, UT or New England.
cant wait to get my little man on boards, hopefully this place is open in 2 years
Snowboarding in Alabama. didn't expect it, but had a great time. fun time, helpfull staff, and to top it off. .. a couple of inches of natural powder today. Yes you read it right. A powder day in Alabama. So stoked!!!
went yesterday for my first snowboarding trip and started to get the hang of it. Good place to begin

i was there a week ago and they had a sign up that said the base depth was 6-14" so not even close to 100". 96" is eight feet btw...

don't doubt the depth. they have have had plenty of 28 degree weather to blow snow and they only have like an acre and a half to blow it on.
In case someone is unfamiliar with Cloudmont, the posted photo is fake.

was there today. It sux!! go to Cataloochee, it's way better, no doubt.
Went last night, conditions were pretty good. It wasn't very crowded but be sure to bundle up because it's col
